First signs of growth.

This project was completed in three phazes:

Phase 1

Have the site surveyed for endangered and/or protected species. Upon clearance, the approximate 1.5 acre meadow was mown to approximately 2/4 inches and raked. Wildfower seed  (kindly provided by Ernst Conservation Seeds) was hand sown across the meadow and rolled.

Phase 2

Area was marked for circular wood chip path, outlined, flagged and staked. Earth was agitated, weeds removed and wood chips placed in circular pattern.

Phase 3

Creation of 3 bird boxes (4th currently resides in meadow) and two cedar observation benches to be located on grassy hillock.

The site requires ongoing maintenance as with the sensory garden.
