From NJ Turnpike
Take Exit 5, Mt Holly. Follow Rt. 541 South towards Mt Holly. Stay
on Rt. 541 where it changes to the Mt. Holly By Pass, which is also
Rt. 541. Crossover Rancocas Rd., Marne Hwy. (Rt. 537), and Rt. 38.
Follow Rt. 541 into the village of Lumberton, go through traffic
light at Landing St. Follow Rt. 541 until almost out of town, on
right will be a cemetery at the top of hill, on left is Bella Rd,
make left onto Bella, follow ¼ mile to Camp Drive, make left.
Follow Camp Dr. to Ironwood Outdoor Center, follow gravel road to
building.
From Route 295
Take exit 40, Mt Holly to Rt. 38 East. Follow Rt. 38 for approximately
8-10 miles to Rt. 541 By-Pass, South into Lumberton. Follow Rt.
541 into the village of Lumberton; go through traffic light at Landing
St. Follow Rt. 541 until almost out of town. On the right will be
a cemetery at the top of hill, on left is Bella Rd., make left onto
Bella, follow ¼ mile to Camp Drive make left. Follow Camp
Dr. to Ironwood Outdoor Center, follow gravel road to building.
From Route 206/ and East
From Rt. 206 take Rt. 38 West to Main St. (Rt. 691)/Madison Ave.
exit, Take jug handle and cross over Rt. 38 and follow Main St.
(Rt. 691) into the village of Lumberton. Note: Rt. 691 become Rt.
541 at By-Pass. At traffic light cross over Landing St., follow
Rt. 541 until almost out to town, on right will be a cemetery at
the top of hill, on left is Bella Rd., make left onto Bella, follow
¼ mile to Camp Drive, make left. Follow Camp Dr. to Ironwood
Outdoor Center, follow gravel road to building.
Medford/Medford Lakes
Rt. 541 North, cross over Rt. 70 and continue on Rt. 541 North for
3.6 miles to Bella Rd., make right onto Bella Rd. Travel ¼
mile to Camp Drive, make left. Follow Camp Dr. to Ironwood Outdoor
Center, follow dirt lane to building. (You have gone to far if you
go over a bridge on Rt. 541. Turn around and make left on Bella
Rd.)
Please note: the property of Ironwood Center has a gate which is
locked. You will need to call if the gate is not open. The
building and fence area is alarmed but will be disarmed for you. During off-season the gate will remain closed, but the trails are still open from dawn until dusk.
LANDING STREET ENTRANCE DIRECTIONS (trail head)
Follow above directions to Rt. 541 and Landing St. into the village
of Lumberton. At Landing St. traffic light make right, at Y in the
road on Landing St, bear to the right, do not follow Municipal Dr.
for ½ mile to 407 Landing Street on right. Parking is along
the road. Look for trailhead signs on white/black gate.
